1 Tablespoon Light Brown Sugar1 Teaspoon Ground Allspice1 Teaspoon Salt & Freshly Ground Black Pepper1 Teaspoon Onion Powder1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder1 Teaspoon Dried Thyme0.25 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper1 Tablespoon Vegetable Oil1 Tablespoon Molasses2 Tablespoons Fresh Lime Juice1.75 Pounds Jumbo Shrimp1 LimePreheat the broiler. Grease a large broiler pan with a light coating of the cooking spray.Combine brown sugar with onion powder, black pepper, allspice, salt, thyme and cayenne in a bowl. Stir in molasses, lime juice and oil. Whisk well until smooth. Add shrimp to the spice mixture and mix well. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 10 minutes. Arrange the marinated shrimp in a single layer on the prepared broiler pan, broil for 2 minutes, flip the shrimp and broil for another minutes. Serve with simple steamed rice and a wedge of lime.
