0.33 Pound Bacon1 Small Onion2 Cloves Garlic0.13 Teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes1.66 Pound Green Beans1 Cup Low-Sodium Vegetable Stock0.13 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar0.66 Tablespoon Kosher Salt & Freshly Ground Black Pepper1.33 Tablespoons Unsalted ButterHeat a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat and cook bacon for about 6 minutes, stirring frequently. Add onions, garlic, and red pepper flakes and cook for another 8 minutes, stirring often. Stir in green beans, stock, vinegar, salt, and black pepper and bring to a boil, and reduce to a simmer and cook covered for 45 minutes. Reduce heat to low and simmer, covered for about 45 minutes. Uncover, and raise heat until boiling. Stir in butter and cook for another 5 minutes. Check seasoning and adjust as needed.
