Ingredients:
2 Pounds Venison Backstrap1 Quart Apple Cider1.5 Pound Thick Sliced Bacon24 Ounces Barbecue SauceIn a shallow baking dish, place venison chunks and enough apple cider to cover them. Refrigerate, covered for about 2 hours. Remove venison chunks from the bowl and with paper towels, pat-dry them. Discard apple cider from baking dish. Return venison chunks to baking dish. Place barbeque sauce over the chunks evenly and refrigerate, covered for about 2-3 hours.Remove venison chunks from the refrigerator and keep aside for about 30 minutes before cooking.Preheat an outdoor grill on high heat. Grease the grill grate.With a bacon slice, wrap each venison chunk and secure with toothpicks. Grill venison chunks for about 15-20 minutes, flipping occasionally until you get slightly burn marks.
