2 Whole Butternut Squash6 Tablespoons Butter0.25 Cup Pure Maple Syrup0 Ground CinnamonPreheat oven to 375 degrees. Arrange squash halves onto a baking sheet, cut side down. Roast for about 30-40 minutes. Remove from oven and keep aside to cool slightly. Scoop out flesh of squash halves and transfer into a bowl. Add maple syrup, butter and salt and with a potato masher, mash till a smooth puree is formed. Transfer into a small serving dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon and serve warm.
