1 Cup Butter2 Cups Granulated Sugar4 Large Eggs1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract2.75 Cups All-Purpose Flour0.5 Teaspoon Baking Powder0.5 Teaspoon Baking Soda0.5 Teaspoon Salt1 Cup MilkPreheat oven to 325 degrees. Coat a loaf pan with cooking spray and dust lightly with flour, tapping out excess. Set aside.In a stand mixer, cream butter and sugar until light & fluffy, then add vanilla. Add eggs one at a time, beating one in before adding another. In a large bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until combined.Alternately add the flour mixture and milk to the butter mixture, starting and ending with the flour until a batter is formed. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan, using a spatula to make batter surface even.Bake until a toothpick stuck in the center comes out clean, about 1 hour 15 minutes. Transfer pan to wire rack to cool for 5 minutes. Carefully turn the cake out onto a cake platter and let it rest for another 5 minutes. Gently tap the pan to release the cake onto the platter.
