Beer Batter For FishPT20M Serves 6 Ingredients: 3 Eggs 0.75 Cup Beer 1.5 Cups Milk 4 Cups Pastry Flour 1 Tablespoon Baking Powder 0.5 Teaspoon Baking Soda 2 Tablespoons Cornstarch 0 To Taste Salt 0 To Taste Ground Black Pepper 0.125 Teaspoon Garlic Powder 1.5 Pounds Cod Fillets 2 Quarts Vegetable Oil In a medium bowl, mix together flour, cornstarch, baking soda and baking powder. In another large bowl, add milk and eggs and beat till well combined. Add beer and stir to combine. Add flour mixture, garlic powder, salt and black pepper and mix till well combined. Coat cod fillets with beer mixture evenly. In a deep fryer, heat oil to 375 degrees F and fry cod fillets for about 4-5 minutes.
