Bacon Wrapped Petit Fillet MignonPT25M Serves 4 Ingredients: 4 Fillet Mignon Steaks 3 Tablespoons Kosher Salt & Freshly Ground Black Pepper 8 Slices Thin Bacon 0.25 Cup Olive Oil 0.25 Cup Butter Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Season each steak generously with salt & pepper (about 1 teaspoon) on each side. Wrap with a strip of bacon secured with a toothpick. In a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat, add butter and oil and heat until sizzling. Add the steaks and sear until golden brown, about 1 minute on each side. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for about 8 minutes, for a perfect medium rare. Remove from the oven and rest for 5 minutes.
