Beef Roulanden Recipe | PT1H Serves 8 Ingredients: 0.25 Cup Dijon Mustard 0.5 Cup Onion 2 Teaspoons Paprika 2 Teaspoons Salt 2 Teaspoons Freshly Ground Black Pepper 8 Slices Bacon 3 Tablespoons Canola Oil 1 (12-Ounce) Can Beef Broth 0.25 Cup Sour Cream 8 Medium Round Steaks 2 Tablespoons Cornstarch Spread ½ tablespoon of mustard over one side of each steak evenly. Sprinkle onion, paprika, salt and black pepper over each steak evenly. Place 1 bacon slice over each steak. Roll each steak into jelly-roll style and with toothpicks, secure the rolls. In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat and cook steak rolls until browned from all sides. Add beef broth and 1¼ cups of water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer, covered for about 30 minutes. With a slotted spoon, transfer steak rolls onto a plate. Through a fine mesh strainer, strain broth mixture and return into the same skillet. In a bowl, add and 1 cup of water and dissolve cornstarch in it. Slowly, add cornstarch mixture to skillet, stirring continuously. Cook for about 2-3 minutes, stirring continuously. Add sour cream and stir to combine. Stir in rolls and serve immediately.
